dirt roads & disco balls

we’ve always wanted to do a holiday catalog … the problem with this is that in order to produce a holiday catalog, planning for it begins in the spring (at the very latest). anddddd we’re not the best planners in the world. we like to fly by the seat of our pants. we never know when inspiration may hit so we don’t want to box ourselves in. our inspo changes daily. also, did i mention we have commitment issues?

all of that said, here we go. our first holiday catalog ever. we shot it in the LITERAL hottest days of AUGUST that you can imagine. texas was hotter than the surface of the sun. an egg wouldn’t just fry on the road, it would vaporize into the atmosphere. i kid you not. we were questioning our life choices at this point.

i was also questioning my life choice over trying to sit on this disco ball …

but with a giant disco ball like this (thanks to matt white of recycling the past), a dirt road and a windmill in the distance at sunset … it just felt like the right thing to do.

here we go, y’all! can’t wait to hear what y’all think about the catalog. it’s the BIGGEST LAUNCH in JG history! TONS of new products … clothes, jewelry, bags, hats, decor, SO MUCH GOOD STUFF! fingers crossed, they should be hitting mailboxes LATE next week!
