antiques week is imminent…and to us junkers, we’re about as giddy as a kid on christmas morning.

today marks day 5 of set up…we’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there.

buuuuut we’ve had a few distractions along the way…

like this door….

(which we just HAD to buy from matt white of recycling the past at EXCESS.)

and this little piece of heaven…

and these lovebirds…well, they just made my day with their chippy peely decadence…

{seriously…you could travel the world for this stuff…orrrrr just come to texas}

    Instead of dreaming of “some beach somewhere”, I am dreaming of fields of bluebonnets and awesome junk……….but instead I am here in a classroom “somewhere down in Texas” producing the Nations best!     Went to preview the “glory hole” of junkin today (yesterday 3/29… so excited I can’t sleep now). Holy-Moly… it is so awesome this year. Only made it through front to back from the RV/Creek field in Warrenton down to Zapp Hall. Good thing I’m going back next week with my forever friend for FOUR DAYS! See you there fellow junkers.

    I am so interested to learn about the correlation of junk gypsies and the Saints. I see Mary and the Rosary often in your works and would love to know how this came about. I have a friend who owns a store in Dallas (The Gypsy Wagon), and have noticed the same tchotchkes in her store. Thank you!
