the book writing storm is finally simmering down and we’re getting back in the saddle over here in gypsyville. which means new goods and new shoots. so we decided to get lost…out yonder on our back 40.
i dusted off the ole canon 5d. amie got to styling our supermodel (aka. archie) and tracy, adrian, and sandy loaded up tons of merch and new goods and set the stage that would serve as our photoshoot backdrop.
i’m a big believer in less talk, more action…so prepare for a roll out of pics…(and be forewarned, sometimes i have commitment issues, in which case, i just post all the pics)
kinda totally in love with these paisley flares.
and don’t even get us started on this jolene ombre duster…plaid, silk, velvet, ombre…pretty much perfection in every way.
and because, kimonos…
and more kimonos…
one of my fave pics of archie….
and these…seriously. we can’t take it.
did i mention kimonos?
the only thing better than a kimono is a kimono with fringe…enter the patchwork fringe kimono…
ahhhh….these crochet flares are just seriously amazing. they are like yoga pants with a side of coachella fashion.
and lest us not forget…cornbread.
and a little behind the scenes action
our supermodel coming in hot…(and when i say hot, i actually do mean HOT. y’all, it was a STEAMY, HUMID, freakin’ HOT day in texas)
and striking a pose…
and most importantly, amie and tracy taking one for the team and not letting our props go to waste at the end of the shoot.
because somebody’s gotta do it…
