she was free in her wildness. she was a wanderess, a drop of free water. she belonged to no man and no city.

A few months ago, we did a photoshoot inspired by all things Runaway Bride. We all remember the adorable, loving, and quirky Maggie Carpenter played by Julia Roberts. We channeled those free spirited “ready-to-run” vibes, grabbed a few vintage wedding dresses from the barn (including mom’s old veil), white cowgirl boots from our store, a palomino named Barbie, and re-created our own rendition of a Runaway Bride with Jess and Alley.
The inspo (cue U2’s “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” or The Chicks “Ready to Run”).
Out at Kelley’s barn … Barbie on the right and Troubadour on the left. Getting ready for their close-up.
With our runaway brides in place and Roaming Wild Photography behind the camera, it was time to get this party started.
Because boots like this, deserve their own shoot…
Andddddd here’s some behind the scenes action. Cash Baker was the highly skilled drone pilot. Y’all … it really takes a village to bring our ideas to life and we recruit the whole fam!
Also, these 2 have been Junk Gypsy ride or dies for many years… this was back in 2014. Excuse us while we go hide under the covers and cry for like a week…
And for all of our pinners out there… here’s the a few pins! Take your pick!
That’s it for now, y’all!! More fun coming soon!
