a glamping we will go

May 9, 2014

so i’m really really, realllllllly tardy on this post. but i’m going with the “fashionably late” excuse on this one. at least that’s my story and i’m sticking to it. for now.

our latest photo shoot was lots of fun…because, well we’re pretty dang excited and inspired by our glamping theme.

glam camping = glamping. = awesome.

because everyone should wear sequin shorts while hiking through the woods (yes, we named them almost famous…which makes them even cooler).

because nothing says camping like a fabulous plaid skirt, corset belt, big jewelry, and vintage boots…

and nothing says nature like a koozie with rhinestones on it…

and a stylish bike…

and well…just everything…

and because there is no better way to feel one with the woods than to wear your fringe boots, your bandana leggings, and your old americana cape.

posing perfectly in front of your airstream.

i rest my case.

now y’all…the season is upon us. get out there.

nature is calling. adventure is calling. answer the call…and catch those dreams…

happy glamping…

Huge fan! Wishing the blog gave tips about true Junk Gypsiness…. Repurposing for camping, items to use setting up a campsite, etc. We just returned and used a fun set of vintage TV trays – they turned out very helpful. I’d love love love to know how you do it!!!!

In my dream, I go Glamping, I am my husband 24/7 caregiver and I love to dream about running on the beach in Corpus Christy. I love reading your blog and following y’all in spirit. The pictures are so beautiful and so clear, that it make one feel as though you were there. Thank you Junk Gyspi’s. Have y’all ever going to the GIANT flee market in Hillsville, Virginia? It’s a 4 day event that starts Labour Day weekend. The very tiny town much like Round Top, goes from 3,000 folk s to over 600,000 people, all looking for that one special item. Y’all would love it, of course I want be there too.
Is there any way that y’all could make the comment box white? It’s very hard to see what one is typing.
Sure love love your show on HGTV, I have every episode and get great ideas from them.
    Love, love from, Bug

Oh ladies. Such pretties! I just stumbled onto your show after being a longtime gypsy…you all are to me as to so many a huge inspiration for my own ethic and originalit in business, which is oa family compound on the outskirts of Tulsa. I only wish I could pop over to Round Top because my dad just bought me an old ate up 5th wheel to refurb for my workspace. Instead I’ll just get inspired by your amazing shoots and pray for glitter rain. Beautiful work, girls. Big hugs from the land of Woody Guthrie and Bob Wills. Mwah.
