RQ x JG – Here’s to Her Fashion Show Recap

February 13, 2026

On December 8, in the middle of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, we traded coffee for couture and stepped into a runway moment we will not forget.

NFR in Vegas is already electric. Boots on every corner. Fringe before breakfast. Country music humming through every hotel lobby. And right in the middle of all of it, the RQ x Junk Gypsy fashion show took over with a daytime brunch runway that felt bold, feminine, and unmistakably Western.

Our “Here’s to Her” collection had its own moment on the runway, and seeing it come to life under those lights felt surreal. What started as sketches and conversations about strong women, vintage soul, and Round Top grit suddenly had music, movement, and an audience.

The “Here’s to Her” collection began as a tribute to the fearless women who shaped us, especially our moms. From the very beginning, it was about honoring the women behind the scenes, the ones who carried families, dreams, and big faith long before the spotlight ever found them. What started as a simple idea grew into a love letter to women everywhere. . . those who show up tired and do it anyway, and somehow make strength look like art.

And yes, it was a daytime show, which somehow made it even better. Something about cowboy hats and champagne before 2 PM just hits different in Vegas during the NFR.

Backstage was exactly what you’d expect. Models doing final turns. Last-minute swaps. Fittings and laughs. And Carson Kressley stepping in as MC for the “Here’s to Her” portion of the show. We love him. Truly the best. He brought that perfect mix of polish, humor, and heart.

When he introduced the collection, it felt elevated but still personal. He understood what it meant. He celebrated it. And he made the whole thing feel bigger than just a runway moment.

RQ brought the runway confidence. We brought the Round Top soul. And with Carson guiding the room, the energy felt electric but grounded at the same time.

The moment that shifted the whole room was when the moms of country music walked out.

Beverly Lambert, Michelle Wilson, and Heather Langley stepped onto that stage with so much pride and grace it was impossible not to feel it. These are the women who raised Lainey, Miranda, and Ella, and when they walked out on that runway, something in the air changed. You could feel it in the room. People teared up. The applause did not stop. It was pure joy.

Like Amie said, “From the moment these ladies met, we knew it was going to be iconic. It started with long hugs and tears in the airport, knowing that no one in the world can understand their journey like the other. It was magic. It was beautiful. And to these three, we thank you. We thank you for raising strong women who are changing the country music game and inspiring legions of fearless females along the way.”

Every look told a story. Leather and lace. Sequins and saddle blankets. Fur coats over graphic tees. Pink fringe that practically demanded applause. It was not about playing it safe. It was about celebrating women who are bold enough to take up space.

And when Amie and Jolie stepped out at the end with Quincy, the crowd was on its feet. That is the part you do not see in a product photo. The pride. The exhaustion. The quiet relief when months of work land exactly the way you hoped they would.

Vegas amplified everything. The lights were brighter. The music louder. The fringe swung a little bigger.

But at its core, it was still about what Junk Gypsy has always been about. Women cheering for other women. Dreaming big. Taking up space. And creating something that feels like it matters.

Here’s to her.
